This charming dress features a high yoke accented by a Peter Pan collar, short puffed sleeves gathered to a bias fabric band, and a gathered skirt. The collar may be trimmed with mini piping or ric rack. The bodice features a mock yoke and shoulder straps accented by two decorative buttons. The skirt is created using two panels of fabric with an accent band (or trim) inserted between the two. These panels may be cut using the same fabric or different colored fabrics. The skirt is then embellished using patch pockets, or a group of darling appliqued paper dolls. Additional pocket designs include squares, apples or hearts.
