Anyone who smocks should have this wonderful book in their sewing library.  The Joy of Smocking comes with a variety of 13 different smocking designs - some are geometric and some are picture smocking designs, as well as a wonderful nightgown pattern in sizes 6 months to 14 years.  Martha Pullen has also graciously given helpful hints for geometric smocking and picture smocking, as well as pleater instructions.  There is also a pattern for a wonderful smocked T-Bonnet.
